Registration for Free IELTS Tutorial Session

The Royal Institute of Management is pleased to announce that the Free IELTS Tutorial Session for 6^th and 8^th June examinations. The schedule has been fixed from May 16^th to 28^th May for the duration of 10 days excluding Saturday and Sunday. The tutorial will also include information on scholarships and application procedures. The sessions are scheduled after office hours from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at RIM Campus.

Registration will be open from 13^th May, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 P.M during office hours at RIM and will tentatively close on 15^th May 5:30 P.M. Those aspiring to attend the classes seriously should come in person for the registration or one should provide an authorization letter if you want anyone to register on your behalf. The candidates will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. RIM will take at least 80 candidates.

Interested applicants are asked to bring a copy of your identity card. Please note that only serious and interested candidates who can attend all 10 days session will be given priority since it is always feasible for all of us.

Launching of the 12th Issue of the RIM Newsletter

The Literary Committee has successfully launched the 12^th issue of the RIM Newsletter for the month of May today. The Director launched the May Issue of the Newsletter in his office at 10:30 am. Also present for the occasion was the Head of the Department of Research and Consultancy, Literary Adviser, Literary Secretary and the Desktop and Publication Personnel and his assistant.

For the interested readers, copies are available in the Library.

Latest Update: IELTS Registration for June

This is to notify all the candidates aspiring to appear for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam at Thimphu, Bhutan that the IELTS examination online registration for 8^th June is extended till 5^th May and online Registration for 6^thJune is extended till 10^th May 2013. The candidates are requested to submit the following documents at RIM for 8^th June before 5^th May and for 6^th June before 10^th May:

Submit a print out copy of your confirmed email received in your Mail Inbox – IELTS Application Summary after Online Registration. Note: This Online Registration Application Summary has unique number from the Online Registration System and the candidate’s Passport or Citizenship ID Card Number. While punching your data, do not make mistakes. Your result would be – What You See is What You Get. For registration, please visit to http://www.britishcouncil.org/india-exams-ielts-how-to-register.htm

Submit a photocopy of your valid identification Passport or Citizenship Identity Card where appropriate. Note that on the test day, you must bring the same identification as used for booking.

3. Submit two copies of recent Passport size photos with white background showing both ears clearly and without specks. See guidance on candidates’ photographs for full details.

Submit Demand Draft of Rs. 8,900/- (Rupees Eight Thousand Nine Hundred) only in favor of British Council Division, Kolkata.

Once you have booked your test, all candidates will be required to keep on touch with your email. Kindly note that all the IELTS exam related administration and management decisions are carried out by British Council Division, Kolkata and not by RIM.
