Mr. Jit Tshering, Asstt. Professor and Ms. Sonam Chuki, Lecturer are presently conducting the last Workshop on Strategic Visioning and Development Planning Framework at the RNRC Conference Hall, Bajothang, Wangduephodrang for the Dzongkhag Sector Heads of Gasa and Dagana.
The three day training for Gasa dzongkhag started on 15th November (Monday) and will end on the 17th November (Wednesday), 2010.
The programme is also attended by its respective Dasho Dzongdags and Dzongrabs.
So far, the Royal Institute of Management (RIM) has successfully conducted the Strategic Visioning and Development Planning Framework Workshops for 18 Dzongkhags; Ha, Paro, Chukha, Samtse Thimphu, Punakha, Wangdue, Sarpang, Tsirang, Lhuntse, Bumthang, Zhemgang, Trongsa ,Trashi Yangtse, Mongar Trashigang, Samdrup Jongkhar and Pemagatshel.
The team will begin the workshop for Dagana dzongkhag on 18th November (Thursday), 2010 and will conclude on 20th November (Saturday), 2010.
Dagana and Gasa are the last two dzongkhags for which the team is conducting the Strategic Visioning and Development Planning Workshop.
The aim of the workshop is to facilitate the respective Dasho Dzongdags, Dzongrabs and Dzongkhag Sector Heads in coming up with a Strategic Vision and Development Planning Framework for their Dzongkhags.
The Resource Persons from the Institute are Mr. Jit Tshering, Asstt. Professor, Ms.Sonam Chuki, Local Governance Unit Coordinator and Mr. Lebo, Programme Assistant. The team from the institute is accompanied by Mr. Tashi, an official from the Gross National Happiness Commission.
The Workshops, first of its kind is being organized by the Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC) and conducted by the RIM.
