Leadership for a New Bhutan

A four-day course which began on 20th December on Leadership for a New Bhutan concluded today. The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony was Commissioner Bachu Phub form the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC). Also present during the event was the Director of the institute and other officials from the RCSC and the participants.

The LEADERSHIP TRAINING was designed for senior level officials of the Civil Service.  It was a four-day intensive course designed to prepare decision makers for greater responsibilities and more complex objectives of development. The training emphasised on strategy formulation and implementation, the changing role of government in a transition context, and state reforms and governance. 

 The resource person for the training was Professor Tess Del Rosario, LKY School of Public Policy with Sr. Lecturer DP Mishra from the insitute as its co-facilitator.

 The training was attended by 23 senior level officials from various ministries and agencies. It was conducted by the Royal Institute of Management in collaboration with the RCSC.
