A total of 103 PG trainees attended their orientation programme from 1st-3rd February, 2012.

They were given briefings on the Academic and Hostel Rules and Regulations, Sports, Cultural and Literary Events. The Department and Unit Heads also presented on their respective Departments and and Units. A briefing on their respective Courses was also conducted by the Course Coordinators.

There are 36 trainees in Post Graduate in Public Administration; 27 trainees in Post Graduate Diploma in National Law, and 40 in Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management.

All the candidates (except for 5 in PGDNL and 4 from PGDFM, who are candidates from the private and corporate sectors) are the Civil Service Common Examination (CSCE) select candidates. They will be trained for one year and then placed in the respective Ministries and Agencies after successful completion of the courses.

Their regular sessions commenced from 6th February, 2012.
