A total of thirty participants (16 Royal Government of Bhutan scholarship candidates and 14 private and corporate sector candidates) are attending their orientation program for the Master in Management and Master in Public Administration courses which began yesterday (28th February, 2013).
This is the second cohort of students participating in the full-time offshore master’s program conducted by the Royal Institute of Management in collaboration with the University of Canberra, Australia.
The master’s courses are taught by some of the best visiting Professors from the University of Canberra and are assisted by the local counterparts.
The orientation will end today and the regular sessions will begin from 4th March, 2013 with the first unit on Governance in Business and Government . It’s a one year full-time master’s course with a provision to continue one semester in the University of Canberra, Australia as part of the exchange program. The participants will be graduating in March 2014.
