The institute is located below Semtokha Dzong (the oldest Dzong of Bhutan) and is seven kilometers drive from the main city of Thimphu. The grand architectural design of the Institute building and the Ola Rongchu River flowing through its 25-acre campus adds to the serenity and the natural beauty of the campus.
