Karma Nidup is from Sha Goenser, Wangdue. Graduated with Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering (B. Tech) from the Regional Engineering College, Warangal, India and joined the Royal Institute of Management in 1998.

He has also undergone Master of Science in Information Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand.

His areas in IT training include Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Office Applications, Systems Development, Networking and Internet Applications. In addition he is also involved in designing the courses and development of the IT infrastructure and systems, and providing relevant IT human resources within the Institute.

Mr. Nidup is a Cisco Certified Networking Academy instructor and is responsible for the related activities and programs undertaken by the Institute as a Cisco Networking Academy in the country. He has contributed to the IT development in the country as an active member of the National IT Task Force in 1999 and since then continues to provide his knowledge and skills through committees and work groups.

His areas of interest include Business Informatics (Decision Support Systems) and ICT for Development Issues. 

Presently, he is one of the core faculty members of Department of Information & Communication Technology.
