Namgay
Wangchuk, born on 3rd August 1956 is from Shengana,
Punakha. He graduated in 1975 with Bachelors degree
in Dzongkha from Semtokha Rigzhung School, Thimphu,
Bhutan. He joined the Government service as a language
teacher in 1975 in Education Department and served
for 14 years in same department. In 1989 he was transferred
to Royal Institute of Management as a Dzongkha Instructor.
Has been teaching/training in the institute since
1989.
He has served as Head for Office
Management Program from 1993 – 1999 beside teachings.
He has special interest in translation from English
– Dzongkha and writing Management books in Dzongkha.
He has authored and published a book called “A
Guide to Standard Report and Letter Writing in Dzongkha”
in 2002, and 'Drukluki dzingchong dhang yigtshang
Godren Thapthnag' (Management & Office Organisation)
in 2005. |
