From the Director’s Desk

It gives us exceptional privilege and happiness to launch the first issue of the dZinchong Rigphel before theaugust gathering of Hon’ble Members of the 80th National Assembly who have graciously consented to visit the Institute. We are indeed very happy to have this magazine released formally by the Hon’ble Chairman of RIM Board of Directors,Dasho Dr. Jigmi Singay, Secretary of the Royal Civil Service Commission.

For more than 16 years now, we have been constantly striving for excellence in offering management education, training andconsultancy services for both the public and private sectors. We are aspiring to become ‘the premier center of management education known for developing managers for tomorrow’. With the continued guidance and support from the Chairman, members of the RIM Board of Directors and from all our valued customers and stakeholders, we believe that this vision would be achievable someday.

Collaborating, networking, linkaging and information sharing are becoming indispensable to any learning organizations today. So as a response to it, and also to stimulate learning and to partake in resource sharing in the fields of management and development, we provide you with this first publication.

Through dZinchong Rigphel, we sincerely hope to boost knowledge, skills and experiences in management studies amongst our readers and writers alike.
