Norbu Wangchuk

Prior to joining RIM in 1998 as one of the core faculty members of the Centre for Private Sector Development (CPSD), he worked in one of the private sector companies where he was extensively involved in the export, manufacturing, wholesale dealership, personnel and administrative management and marketing. His specialized areas include marketing management, performance management and position classification system development in Bhutan. To date, he has contributed the following papers to dZinchong Rigphel:

Pema Wangdhee

With MDM degree from the Asian Institute of Management, he has specialized in Organizational Development, Institution Building, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Learning Methodologies, Sources and Uses of Power and Management of Change. He is also interested in Business Communications, Systems Thinking and Service Marketing. Besides being a faculty member of the Center for Executive Development (CED), he is also the Editor of the Institute’s bi-annual journal, dZinchong Rigphel. He has the following papers to his credit:

2. Making People Management a Strategic Organizational Purpose

Phuntsho Namgay

He joined RIM in 1990 as a lecturer and he served in the Royal Bhutan Army as Short Service Officer (SSO) from 1991 to 1995 after which he resumed as a Senior Lecturer in the Institute. He holds Masters degree in Development Management (MDM) from the Asian Institute of Management. He lectures in Quality Service Management, Strategic Planning, Operations Management and Organizational Diagnosis. He has extensive experience in development and decentralization programme of the government especially in capacity building of GYT members and sector heads. He heads the Institute’s Centre for Policy Support (CPS). As of today, he has written two papers for dZinchong Rigphel:

1. Quality Service Management
2. Repositioning Baeyul (Lost Kingdom): A Local Governance Perspective

D S Kharka

He has served in different positions such as Coordinator of regular program, Head of Research and Consultancy and the Head of Center for Private Sector Development in RIM besides his teaching job since 1988. His areas of specialization include Managerial Economics, Privatization, consultancy services and research in Private and Public sector organization.

He has also contributed substantially in the development and implementation of administrative management system of RIM.

He is keenly interested in teaching management subjects that require quantitative ability. Presently he is one of the core faculty members of Center for Private Sector Development (CPSD) and lectures in Economics and Finance.

Revisiting the Bhutanese Development Philosophy through the Conventional Development Models is his first contribution to dZinchong Rigphel.
