(passed) candidates of commerce background who
have been selected to pursue career in the areas
of tax, customs and excise administration and
accounting selected through the selection process
of the ICTA by DRC, RCSC & RIM.

(a) Intensive
training in the areas of tax, customs and excise
administration and accounts auditing is offered
as stated below for a period of six months.

(b) For the
following six months, trainees of ICTA are attached
with different DRC offices for specialization
whereby the trainees are divided into three
areas such as tax, customs and excise. In the
second year, the trainees are placed in various
DRC regional offices for on-the- job training
(OJT). |

customs inspectors and excise inspectors
the job responsibilities of assistant tax
administrators and revenue officers in the
Department of Revenue and Customs (DRC)
