RIM is organizing a series of Digital Skills Short Trainings during October, November, and December, offering hands-on, face-to-face sessions designed to equip professionals with practical, workplace-ready digital competencies:

1. Cybersecurity, Management Spreadsheets, and Data Analytics that will be integrated with AI for solution-oriented learning, designed to help you work more efficiently and drive transformative change in public service delivery.
2. Excel to BI: AI-Enhanced Data Analytics and Dashboarding using Excel, Power BI, and Tableau, designed for participants to learn to clean, analyze, and visualize data, create interactive dashboards, and generate AI-driven insights to support evidence-based decision-making.

  • Batch 02: 01/12/2025 – 10/12/2025
• Duration: 8 days
• Mode: Face-to-face, with hands-on activities at RIM, Semtokha
• Fees: Nu. 10,000 per participant (includes lunch and refreshment)
• Who can Attend: Civil servants and professionals from both the public and private sectors who wish to enhance their digital and data analysis skills.
• Maximum Participants: 26

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:

1. ICDL Cyber Security

• Understand fundamental concepts of cybersecurity and safe online practices.
• Identify common digital threats such as malware, phishing, and social engineering.
• Implement basic security measures to protect personal and organizational data.
• Apply secure password management, data encryption, and safe browsing techniques.

2. ICDL Management Spreadsheet

• Create, format, and manage spreadsheets effectively for any related tasks.
• Perform calculations, use formulas, and apply functions for data analysis.
• Design interactive reports, tables, and charts to visualize key information.
• Automate repetitive tasks using advanced spreadsheet tools.

3. ICDL Data Analytics

• Analyze structured datasets to extract insights and trends.
• Use tables, charts, and dashboards for visual data representation.
• Apply basic statistical and analytical methods to support decision-making.
• Interpret data results to make informed, evidence-based conclusions

In addition to the learning experience, participants will have the opportunity to earn ICDL Certifications by taking the official test and achieving a score of 75% or higher. The certification fee of $55 will be covered by RIM.

2.  Excel to BI: Data Analytics using Excel and Power BI Dashboarding  – will be Integrated with AI for Solution-Based Learning, enabling participants to apply analytics and automation tools effectively to real-world business scenarios.

This comprehensive training is designed to take participants from foundational Excel skills to advanced business intelligence and dashboarding using Power BI, with AI tools integrated throughout to enhance efficiency and insights. Over the course of five days, participants will learn to clean, analyze, and visualize data, create interactive dashboards, and generate AI-driven insights to support evidence-based decision-making.
