The Royal Institute of Management is pleased to announce that admissions are now open for the (SELF FUNDING ONLY) Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) 2026 intake.

  • Eligibility Criteria:

  • At least one subject marked with * is required.
  • Both English and Dzongkha are compulsory.

  1. Duration: 18 Months excluding term and winter breaks
  2. Student intake: Maximum of 35 candidates will be admitted in the Diploma of Information Technology. If the total number of students enrolled in the course is less than 15, then the course will NOT be conducted. Remarks : 30 (general public), 5 (reserved for DSP)
  3. Tuition  Fee: A sum of Nu.106260 (One lakh six thousand two hundred and sixty) only will be charged for the whole course. The fee will be payable for each term  as follows:

  1. The Semester Fees will be collected  before the start of each term  and late fee penalties are applicable for payments made after the stipulated deadline. 
  2. Candidates sponsored by Companies will be charged a sum of Nu.159390 (One lakh fifty nine thousand three hundred ninety) only.

Accommodation

Boarding facilities will be provided to interested candidates. Residents will be required to pay Nu. 2,750 per month towards hostel and mess fees. In addition, the electricity charges for the respective hostel rooms shall be borne by the trainees themselves.

Security Deposit (Refundable): Nu. 2,000 (Ngultrum Two Thousand only) and Nu.50 (sports and cultural fee) payable at the time of admission.
