About the Course
The Royal Institute of Management offers an internationally recognized Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in collaboration with the University of Canberra (UC), Australia. Our MBA program is a blend of rigorous coursework with applied research, preparing graduates to lead, innovate, and manage across a wide range of sectors within and outside the country.
The MBA program is designed to equip you with comprehensive knowledge, practical skills, and strategic thinking in key areas of business—including leadership, applied economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, and human capital management. Admission requirements
To be eligible for admission into the MBA program, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, OR
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field AND have at least three years of relevant work experience, OR
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and a Graduate Certificate in Business or a higher qualification.
English Language Requirement: Applicants are required to produce English language proficiency certificates. A minimum overall IELTS Academic score of 6.5, with no individual band score below 6.0, is required. Alternatively, applicants may provide proof of English Language Proficiency Certificate (from BCSEA for domestic students).

Fees and Program Structure
The total course fee for domestic students is Nu. 350,000 for the entire program, which is payable on a trimester basis. The course fees stated here will be applicable from the 2026 intake onwards and are subject to change in the future.
The International MBA is a 36-credit point program comprising 12 core units, each worth 3 credit points. Unlike at the UC, there are no elective units offered at the Royal Institute of Management. Credit transfer may be granted to eligible students with prior learning or equivalent qualifications, upon the evaluation and approval by the UC.
Credit arrangements
There are no formal credit transfer arrangements for entry to this course. Any previous study will only be considered as part of the application process in accordance with the UC course rules and university policy. Students applying for any credit transfer will have to be applied to the UC Admissions Office directly.

The admission for the course is centralized at the University of Canberra. Students can directly apply to the Admission Office through UC’s online student system – Study Link portal https://student-canberra.studylink.com/. The admission for the course is open year-round. For easy admission process, please follow the following steps:
- Open the portal link for registration.
- Login using the username and password.
- Search for RIM MBA using the code 723AL
- Click the Apply Now button to access the application forms
- Complete the questions and uploads documents in acceptable format
- Use the Study Link Portal to check the application status
- Applicants who received their offer need to accept the offer online
