About Pema Choden

Pema Choden is an Assistant Lecturer with a strong academic background, holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (2021) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (2014). With over two years of teaching experience, she specializes in accounts-related subjects for the Diploma in Financial Management (DFM) and Certificate in Accounting programs. In addition, she has taught Public Procurement to in-service candidates and delivered lectures on the National Budget to local governance members.
Currently, Pema serves as the Coordinator for the DFM program, where she manages the program’s operations and curriculum while also overseeing the leadership development program for P2-level civil servants. As the planning focal for the Royal Institute of Management (RIM), she actively contributes to the development of the institution’s 13th Five Year Plan (FYP).
Combining her academic qualifications with diverse experience in teaching, program coordination, and strategic planning, Pema is dedicated to fostering an engaging and dynamic learning environment. Her skills in organization, leadership, and strategic planning have been pivotal in contributing to the growth and success of the institute.
