About Dorji Wangchuk

Mr. Dorji Wangchuk is an Assistant Lecturer at the Royal Institute of Management’s (RIM) Center for Academic Program (since July 2025). He specializes in Economics and Research at the postgraduate level and currently serves as the MBA Program Leader.

Before joining RIM, he served under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, where he contributed to academic writing and curriculum development. His works include two self-published books, chapters in Grade 11 and 12 Economics textbooks, and research papers in national and international Asian journals.

Dorji pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of New England, Australia as one of the Royal Government of Bhutan Scholarship recipients in 2014. In 2024, he received a Fulbright Scholarship to study a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University in Boston, United States. Currently, he engages in teaching, research, peer-reviewing academic articles, and scholarly editing.
