Diploma in Finance Management(DFM)
The Diploma in Financial Management is a Bhutan Qualification Framework (BQF) Level 5 qualification with 240 credit point (CP) course designed for the class 12 completed. The course is designed within the broad context of international financial management practices to suit both public and corporate financial management. The focus of the course is to develop professionals with adequate knowledge and operational skills to undertake financial related tasks and also inculcate transferable and lifelong learning skills. The participants are provided with a sound understanding and hands on skills of accounting and bookkeeping to prepare for an accounting career in the government, public, corporate and not-for-profit organizations. This course is designed to provide a foundational knowledge and skills for those aspiring to pursue membership in accounting professional bodies at an undergraduate level.
Course aims and objectives
The Diploma in Financial Management aims to develop graduates with adequate knowledge, operational skills and personal attributes necessary to become accountants in the government, private and corporate sectors.
The objective of this course is to make our graduates career ready by:
