About Wangdi

Wangdi is a Senior Lecturer at the Royal Institute of Management (RIM) with over 30 years of experience in teaching and ICT curriculum development. His expertise includes Microsoft Office, operating systems (Windows/Linux), hardware fundamentals, networking (CISCO), programming, and information systems management. Since 1991, he has shaped many students’ careers in these fields. He has also conducted research in business and entrepreneurship innovation.

Wangdi has received numerous awards, including the Silver and Gold Medals for 20+ and 30+ years of service to the King, Country, and People, as well as the National Order of Merit (Gold) for Academic Excellence.

Beyond teaching, Wangdi holds additional roles such as Network Administrator, CISCO Certified Instructor, and certified administrator of the Pearson Test Center at RIM. His contributions to both education and technology have made him a respected figure in Bhutan’s academic community.
