Tshering Yangden is a highly qualified professional with a Masters in Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. With over 16 years of diverse experience in the civil service and educational leadership, she has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to empowering youth and fostering community engagement. Her leadership is characterized by innovative thinking and a dedication to continuous improvement within educational institutes and the wider community.

Throughout her career, Tshering Yangden has held significant roles across various government agencies under the Royal Civil Service Commission, showcasing her versatile expertise in education and beyond:

  • Commission Member (April 2019 – April 2024): As a member of the Commission, she contributed to the governance and development of the education sector, focusing on policy reforms and capacity building.
  • Director of Directorate Services, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Referral Hospital (May 2017 – April 2019): Tshering Yangden broadened her scope into healthcare management while maintaining her involvement in educational initiatives, contributing to the integration of learning with healthcare services.
