About Mihoko Ikeda

Mihoko Ikeda is a JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) volunteer from Japan, currently assigned to the Center for Academic Programs for a two‑year term. She is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in both Japan and the United States. Before joining the JICA volunteer program, she worked for seven and a half years at an auditing firm in Japan, where she was engaged in auditing financial statements and evaluating internal controls for various clients. During her time at the Japanese auditing firm, she was also dispatched to Los Angeles for one year as a trainee, where she gained hands‑on experience in U.S. audit and review engagements. After leaving the auditing firm, she also gained experience in forensic services at an advisory firm.
