Borrowing durations vary according to user categories, as outlined below:
● Faculty Members: Books can be borrowed for one month, with an extended borrowing period of up to three months for select academic resources.
● Staff Members: Eligible to borrow materials for a standard period of one month, with no extended lending provisions.
● MBA Students: Allowed to check out books for two weeks, with an extended borrowing option of up to three months for specialized resources.
● Diploma Trainees: Can borrow materials for an initial period of two weeks, with the possibility of retaining specific academic references for three months.
● Guest Members: Granted borrowing rights for two weeks, though extended borrowing privileges are not available.
● CIA (Certificate in Accounting) Students: Permitted to borrow books for two weeks, with the option to extend for three months in select cases.
● GDA (Graduate Diploma in Accounting) Students: Borrowing privileges allow for a two-week loan period, with an extended lending option of up to three months for certain academic materials.
Borrowing Guidelines
● All borrowed items must be returned within the stipulated period to avoid overdue penalties.
● Extensions are subject to availability and must be requested in advance.
● Borrowers are responsible for maintaining the condition of library materials and will be liable for lost or damaged items.
● Reserved or high-demand materials may have restricted loan periods to ensure wider accessibility.

Reference Book Lending Policy
The Reference Book Lending Policy applies uniformly to all library users, including faculty, staff, MBA students, diploma trainees, and guest members. Given the critical nature of reference materials, borrowing is subject to specific conditions to ensure broad accessibility.
Borrowing Guidelines
● Government Reports & Documents: Can be borrowed for one week.
● CDs & Video Tapes: Available for borrowing on an hourly basis to facilitate quick access and return.
● Reference Books: Generally, not issued for regular lending but may be borrowed on a request basis, subject to approval by the library staff.
General Conditions
● Borrowers must return reference materials on time to maintain availability for other users.
● Extensions may be granted under exceptional circumstances, depending on demand and availability.
● Late returns of CDs and videotapes will result in hourly overdue fines.
