Mr. Jit Tshering, Asstt. Professor returned to the institute after conducting Workshop on Strategic Visioning and Development Planning Framework for the Dzongkhag Sector Heads of Lhuntse, Bumthang and Zhemgang.
The two weeks training started from 16th August and ended on the 29th August, 2010.
So far, the Royal Institute of Management (RIM) has successfully conducted the Strategic Visioning and Development Planning Framework Workshops for 12 Dzongkhags; Ha, Paro, Chukha, Samtse Thimphu, Punakha, Wangdue, Sarpang, Tsirang, Lhuntse, Bumthang and Zhemgang.
The Workshops for the remaining 8 Dzongkhags comprising of Trongsa ,Trashi Yangtse, Mongar Trashigang, Samdrup Jongkhar, Pemagatshel, Dagana and Gasa will be completed soon.
The aim of the worshop is to facilitate the Dzongkhag Sector Heads in coming up with a Strategic Vision and Development Planning Framework their Dzongkhags.
The Resource Persons from the Institute are Mr. Jit Tshering, Asstt. Professor, Ms.Sonam Chuki, Local Governance Unit Coordinator and Mr. Lebo, Programme Assistant. The team from the institute is accompanied by officials from the Gross National Happiness Commission. Usually the Project Manager, Sonam Yarphel of GNHC accompanies the RIM Team.
The Workshops is organized by the Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC) and conducted by the RIM.
