New Director Joins RIM

On January 16, 2019 Mrs. Sonam Pelden Thaye 1999 PGDPA alumna of the institute officially joined the Royal Institute of Management as a new director.

She is a recipient of the prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. She received her Master’s degree in Public Policy from Australian National University and also an alumna of the Indian Administrative Service.

Prior to her posting to RIM, Mrs. Sonam Pelden Thaye served as the director of Directorate Services under the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources. With her 20+ years of experience as civil servant and a leader, we look forward to working closely, to take the Royal Institute of Management to next level, and to fulfil its aspiration and vision of becoming the premier centre of excellence in management development and policy research in the region.

Simple tendrel ceremony was held in the altar of the institute. She was welcomed and ushered in a traditional ceremony by the Officiating Director General, faculty, staffs and other dignitaries.
