The selected candidates have to submit the following original documents (for verification) latest by 22nd September, 2021 before 5.00 pm to the Registration Unit, RIM. A candidate failing to submit the original documents will not be considered for the course.
- Academic Transcripts – class 12
- Photo copy of citizen identity card
- School leaving certificate
- Security Clearance
Reporting Time
- Selected Trainees have to report to the Institute Auditorium on 20th September, 2021 at 8.30 am in RIM uniform.
Program Fee
- A sum of Nu. 84,000 (Eighty-Four Thousand) only will be charged for the 2 years. (For the 1st year – Nu. 42,000.00 (Certificate level)and for the 2nd year (Diploma Level) – Nu. 42,000.00). 50% of the 1st year’s tuition fee must be paid before the start of the Term I (Nu. 21,000.00 – Latest by 20th September, 2021)
Fee Payment
- Fee payment can be made in two installments.
- Trainees must deposit 50% of the tuition fee to RIM Welfare Fund, SB AC No-100502451 latest by 19th September, 2021 and the remaining fee in February 2022. The candidates must email/produce the fee deposit slip to RIM accounts section.

Fee Payment Details for DIT 2021
Fee Payment Option and Penalties :
Fees can be paid in two installments.
The first installment (50%) of the fee must be paid on acceptance of offer or before the start of Term (20th September, 2021).
The second installment should be paid in February 2021. The registration unit will issue a Fee Due notification to all the students for second installment payment.
Payment of Fees may be made in any one of the following options:
- Cash– Accounts Section, RIM Campus at Simtokha, Thimphu
- Cheque– should be drawn in favor of “RIM Fund”and delivered to Accounts Section, RIM Campus at Simtokha, Thimphu. Cheque collection charges (if applicable) must be paid/borne by the Payer.
- Direct Transfer/Deposit into RIM’s BOB Account No.: 100502451, Thimphu Branch. Please quote your Name, Course in the sender/depositor’s address (e.g Dorji Pem, DIT). The counter-foil of the deposit slip or transaction slip copy (MBOB)needs to be submitted to RIM Accounts section or email to padam@rim.edu.bt
Note: Money Receipts will be issued only upon confirmation of the TT receipt/deposits with RIM bank account.
In order to ensure that fees are paid within the set timelines, penalties will be applied for late payments beyond the deadlines set, as per the following.
